Stuffed animal drive underway at Community Hospital Anderson Emergency Department

Last year we served 58 pediatric patients ages 12 years or younger at the Sexual Assault Treatment Center. Unfortunately this year the numbers are growing, and we are on course to serve nearly 100 pediatric patients in 2016.

We need your help to fill an important need for these youngsters. As part of the examination process, we provide a medium to large sized new stuffed animal to hold onto and provide comfort. Many of these children have been removed from their homes and have no toys or personal items. Our stuffed animal supply is very low, and we are asking for you to help us by bringing in new medium to large sized stuffed animals.

Please drop off your donations into the bin located in the Emergency Department lobby during the month of March. Please consider helping these patients and provide them some hope and comfort in a time of desperate need.
