Community Hospital Anderson will offer Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP) enrollment
sessions to the community on the following dates:
Saturday, July 19 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Sessions will be held at the Community Anderson Education Center, 1923 N. Madison Avenue. During these sessions, Community Anderson financial counselors will be available to assist people in signing up for health care coverage through the Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP). Community Hospital Anderson’s financial counselors can also assist people over the phone or in person, by appointment. Call 765-298-1775 for more information or to schedule an appointment.

I have been put on a waiting list and turned down in the past. Should I reapply?
There is no longer a waiting list, so if you have previously been turned down and placed on the waiting list you should reapply. You must be a US citizen or a legal permanent resident for the past five years to apply.
What do I need to bring with me to successfully enroll?
Valid Indiana Driver’s License, Indiana State ID or Student Photo ID
A legal Birth Certificate, Certificate of Naturalization, Certificate of Citizenship, or US passport
We also need proof of income for the entire household for the most current month. (i.e. Pay stubs, paychecks, statement from the employer)
What happens if I am enrolled in Medicare or have private insurance?
An individual cannot be enrolled in Medicare or any group healthcare plan and qualify for HIP.
