The United Way of Madison County recently recognized local employers and individuals who have made major volunteer and financial contributions at the organization's annual meeting and awards celebration.
Terri Rinker, revenue cycle director at Community Hospital Anderson, was recognized as the 2015 Volunteer of the Year. Mike Collette, 2014 United Way Volunteer of the Year, and Beth Tharp, Community Anderson president and CEO, presented the award. According to Tharp, "She is on a mission to make sure everyone in this county has access to health care."
Terri has spent several years leading Community Hospital Anderson's efforts to increase donation and volunteer expectations. Her team has worked tirelessly to help county residents enroll in health insurance through state and local government programs.
