Senior Day at the Fair Saturday, July 18, 10 a.m. Join us at the Madison County Fairgrounds in Alexandria to visit with vendors, enjoy a free lunch, Bingo and door prizes. The event will be held in the main exhibit building at the fairgrounds, located in Beulah Park in Alexandria.
Cincinnati Reds vs. Chicago Cubs Wednesday, July 22 Join us for an afternoon at the ball park at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, OH. Amish Acres, "Anything Goes" Thursday, Aug. 6 Tucked away in quiet Nappanee, Indiana, Amish Acres is a perfect blend of old world charm amidst the hustle and bustle of today. We will begin the afternoon the Art Festival. Following lunch at your leisure, you can tour the grounds of a simpler time and enjoy some shopping for homemade goods in the Amish General Store. Classy Car Show Sunday, Aug. 9, 10 a.m. Community Long Term Care will host its annual car show behind Community Hospital Anderson near the pond. Car registration is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with judging from 1 to 4 p.m. A yard sale and farmer’s market will also be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with great food and activities. All proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.
Community Hospital Anderson Foundation Wednesday, Aug. 12, 3 p.m. Tom Bannon, Community Anderson vice president and chief Foundation officer, will share his vision for the future of the hospital and Foundation.
Medicare update Wednesday, Sept. 9, 3 p.m. Medicare open enrollment begins on Oct. 15. Terri Rinker, revenue cycle director at Community Hospital Anderson, will discuss recent Medicare updates and answer questions.
A Fair to Remember Friday, Sept. 11 This event, held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds will feature a full afternoon of health education, screenings, gourmet buffet lunch and so much more! Henry Winkler, most commonly known for his role as Arthur Fonzarelli on TV’s “Happy Days,” will be the keynote speaker. The cost is $8 per person.
