Clean out your closets and help keep Madison County warm this winter!

Community Hospital Anderson needs your help in its annual Coats of Caring, an effort to collect winter coats for families in need.

New or gently worn winter coats for adults and children, as well as new hats and mittens, are needed by Monday, Oct. 19. Donations can be taken to Community Hospital Anderson, WQME 98.7, The Herald Bulletin or directly to be cleaned at Bestway Cleaner locations on Nichol Avenue or Scatterfield Road.

Monetary donations will be used to purchase new items. Donations can be sent to the Community Hospital Anderson Foundation by calling 298-5133.

Approximately 1000 coats are given away each year at Coats of Caring. For more information on how you can help out with this event, please visit CommunityAnderson.com.
